PGA National is a large, established residential community made up of several neighborhoods, each with its own property association. Housing includes condos, townhomes, villas, single-family homes and larger residences, so age, size, maintenance duties and price vary widely. A renovated condo and an original single-family home can sit in the same community at very different budgets.
Treat each association separately
Do not treat PGA National as one unit. Review each association’s fees, reserves, rental rules, maintenance coverage, planned assessments and approval requirements.
Check the condition of the home
Homes come from different eras, so check roof age, hurricane protection, plumbing and electrical history, HVAC, reserves, prior permits and renovations, and the cost of insurance.
Club membership is a separate decision
PGA National Resort promotes Golf, Junior Executive, Resort Social and Sports memberships, open to residents and non-residents. A home purchase does not automatically require one. Confirm availability, privileges and fees directly with the club.
Is it the right fit?
It suits buyers who want an established location, varied housing and the option to evaluate club membership on their own terms. For mandatory private-club communities, compare BallenIsles, Mirasol, Old Palm and Frenchman’s Creek.
Club membership, dues, assessments, fees, amenities and rules can change. Confirm current terms in writing with the club or association before making an offer.
